CMD Puppies
2025 puppies are all spoken for. Check out our new puppies.
Born in the wee hours of the morning August 16, these pups are all doing great! They had a clean 8 week vet checkup, and weigh between 13.5 and 18.1 lbs! They will continue age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and microchipping.
The puppies are handled daily, and as they grow with us they will be exposed to sheep, chickens, and cows.
The litter is registered with CMDR as G5/PB #BOS025LIT1CMDR.
Please contact me if you have any questions or you're looking for details not listed here.
Daddy Hendrix will likely top 130, with Mama Hazey about 80 lbs.
As for temperament, both parents are not barky but do alert bark, and they're good with people when introduced to visitors (unless they're wearing sunglasses!). They've been with cows, sheep, and chickens, and puppies will be exposed to all those as well. Daddy and Mama love to be outside and play, but they do also love their hoomans and are always up for a good snuggle.
"Turk"
We call this one Turk, Turk 182, The Turkster ... you get the drift. He takes after his mama in size (she's ~80 lbs) and coat (traditional Pyr coat). But it's a toss up if his temperament is more like his mama or daddy -- but he's definitely emotionally in tune at the same time he curious and playful. His body is completely white except some of those lovely fading badger marks on his head/ears that are kind of holding on a bit longer ... In this picture, Turk is on the right (and Chubby is on the left) .
Don't be fooled by his "small" size compared to the other pups. We're re-evaluating the statement that he'll be smaller like his mama because his feet are huge and hey's growing like a weed!
15.7 lbs at 8.5 wks
**SOLD - Not Available**
"Spicoli"
This "little" guy marches to the beat of his own drum (Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, get it...??? lol) -- he's very independent yet also would sometimes rather come get a snuggle as go play. His badger colors have mostly faded, but his ears have gotten a bit darker so the color might stick around.
was 17.6 lbs at 8.5 wks
**SOLD - Not Available**
"Wade (Bowen)"
Wade got his name because while he's laid back, he also is first in line when there's something fun going on. (a la Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen singing "Hold my Beer")
was 16.3 lbs at 8.5 wks
**SOLD - Not Available**
"Chubby Checker"
One of the largest of the litter, Chubby is confident and curious and always ready for an adventure. His badger markings are fading, so will likely keep the tale-tell shaded ears but not the rest.
was 17.8 lbs at 8.5 wks
**SOLD - Not Available**
"Jack" (aka Cap'n Jack aka Jack Attack)
If you want a puppy to roll over and give you their belly for a little rub, this is your guy! He got his name from the dark marking on the right side of his face that looks a little like an eye patch. We think that dark patch and darker ears might stick around ... He's a little smaller than some of the others, but he's no pushover!
was 15.9 lbs at 8.5 wks
**SOLD - Not Available**
"Terra"
This little girl has been in the middle of the pack social-wise, but as puppies are going home her personality and confidence are growing!
