Dorper & Katahdin Sheep

Hair Sheep

In early 2024 we expanded by bringing in small herd of specialty hair sheep -- ASDS registered Dorper sheep and commercial Katahdin x Dorper sheep.

Dorper and Katahdin are both hair sheep, which means they do not require sharing. However, they produce high quality meat while also being docile and easy to handle, weather hardy, feed efficient, and parasite resistant.

In late summer we added the key to it all -- an amazing Dorper ram we call Bart. Bart is a grandson of RR Dorpers Patriot and we are so pleased to see his offspring!

Lambing 2025

Our lambing season the end of March was fantastic with 6 ewe lambs and 3 ram lambs! See below for details of what lambs are still available.

Education

Check out our Learning Hub for more information about the fantastic qualities of Dorper, Katahdin, and Dorper x Katahdin crosses.

Future Breeding

We will be breeding the registered Dorpers again for fall lambs. And also the commercial Katahdin x Dorper again in the fall for Spring 2026 lambs.
